TSUN hosted a global launch event in Bremen for the groundbreaking SolarTrunk (MSU) and PowerTrunk (MAU), themed “Innovation · Efficiency · Future – Next-Gen Micro Storage Solutions” on March 25. The event drew energy industry representatives, experts, and media from across Europe. On March 26 to 27, TSUN showcased its robust microinverter series and the latest micro storage systems at the Bremen Solar Solutions exhibition, where the all-in-one micro storage system SolarTrunk (MSU) and PowerTrunk (MAU) caught the spotlight.
Innovation Reveal: Cutting-Edge Technology Sets Industry Trends
Prior to the official launch, TSUN kicked off the event with an interactive twist by inviting attendees to sign a custom German National Team jersey emblazoned with the TSUN logo and the number "25" (2025).The jersey, blending brand identity with Germany’s iconic football culture, quickly became a canvas for collective participation. Guests left their autographs, transforming the jersey into a symbolic "energy alliance" that fused personal engagement with TSUN’s mission of innovation.
At the launch, Boyal Mao, TSUN’s Global Sales VP, delivered opening remarks, welcoming attendees. Jingjing Zhang, European Operations Director, then traced TSUN’s 15-year journey in renewables under the theme “Towards the Light,” emphasizing the company’s commitments to innovation. Technical Manager Tony Albadin detailed TSUN’s roadmap for microinverters and micro storage technologies.
Semih Issikan, DACH Sales and Marketing Specialist, outlined Europe’s solar evolution: Rising, volatile electricity prices drove Germany’s rooftop solar boom, yet challenges like high upfront costs and long wait times spurred the rise of "1st-gen balcony PV" (solar panels + microinverters). Mismatched solar generation and household consumption led to "2nd-gen balcony PV" (solar panels + microinverters + DC-coupled storage). Now, "3rd-gen balcony systems" (solar panels + AC-coupled all-in-one battery) dominate with easy installation, sleek design, and zero feed-in capabilities.
As a pioneer, TSUN responded to Europe’s dynamic electricity pricing trends by developing bidirectional hybrid micro storage systems. Global Sales VP Ellen Xue then unveiled the highlights of SolarTrunk (MSU) and PowerTrunk (MAU):
SolarTrunk (MSU):
- World’s first bidirectional micro- storage system integrating PV inversion, storage, and smart management.
- Multi-channel input: solar or grid power (for low-cost or cloudy days).
- 4 MPPTs, 2,800W max compatibility, 97% peak efficiency, LFP battery (6,000+ cycles*).
- Stackable from 2kWh to 10kWh, covering daily household needs.
Stackable from 2 - 10 kWh
- Dynamic pricing compatibility cuts bills via off-peak charging.
- Smart zero feed-in mode adjusts output in real-time.
- IP65 rating, -20°C to 55°C operation temperature (with battery self-heating).
- Off-grid use, off-grid, USB, and Type-C ports for power outages or camping.
- Sleek, home-friendly design blends perfectly with home decor.
Difference between PowerTrunk (MAU) and SolarTrunk (MSU) lies in that MSU can connect to up to 4 solar panels while MAU can only charge and discharge from grid. This feature makes PowerTrunk (MAU) 100% compatible with all existing PV systems or even without any PV systems.
After the product introduction, we moved on to unveil the real batteries. The sleek and modern design, alongside the stackable units sparked lively discussions. The event closed with a group photo and more networking.
Solar Solutions Exhibition: Full Portfolio Ignites Excitement
TSUN’s booth, themed “Smart Energy at Your Fingertips”, spotlighted our robust microinverter series and the new SolarTrunk (MSU) and PowerTrunk (MAU).
On Day 1, Ellen Xue shared the latest updates on TSUN micro storage systems at the seminar as the sole Chinese speaker. The speech triggered heated discussions among participants. And according to the commitee, TSUN SolarTrunk (MSU) is the most scanned product among all exhibits, demonstrating our great leap in innovation and agility in Europe’s energy transition.
“German electricity prices surged 37% in three years, yet rooftop solar remains costly and slow. TSUN’s balcony solutions open new doors,” remarked a Berlin energy consultant. Data shows Germany’s balcony PV installations will hit 782,000 units in 2024, with MSU’s zero feed-in and dynamic pricing features perfectly aligning with this trend.
Since its 2009 founding, TSUN has expanded to 50+ countries, driven by its mission to “make clean energy more efficient.” The Bremen launch marks another milestone in TSUN’s European journey. Group photos, passionate speeches, and nonstop booth traffic underscore the brand’s competitive edge. Moving forward, TSUN will continue spearheading global solar storage innovation—leveraging technology as its spear and customer needs as its shield—to elevate the industry to new heights.
